Kim Jin Myong

He was born in Sambong-dong, Wonsan City, Kangwon Province on Feb. 11th, 1967.

After finishing the secondary school, he was enrolled in the Faculty of Mathematics and Dynamics(then), Kim Il Sung University in 1982.

Since 1990, he has been a lecturer at Department of Analytics, Faculty of Mathematics and Dynamics, Kim Il Sung University. Afterwards, he has been the head of the department.

In 2006, he took a doctorate for a doctoral thesis entitled "The theorem of operator value Fourier factors in vector value function space and its application".

He gives lectures in such courses as "Analytic Maths" and "Analytics of function".

He has authored and published 6 coursebooks and 4 reference books including "Analytic Maths".

He has published 10 essays in foreign journals, e.g. "Estimates for a class of oscillatory integrals and decay rates for wave-type equations" in SCI Journal "Journal of Math. Analysis and its Application 394(2012), as well as over 40 essays in national journals.

In Feb, 2015, he was granted "February 16th Science and Technology Prize", the highest prize in science and technology.

He trained one Doctor and 8 Masters.

He gave delight to President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Comrade Kim Jong Un.
