Revolutionary Site

Kim Il Sung University is located near the Kumsusan Sun's Palace where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il live eternal lives. It is permeated with the revolutionary exploits of the peerless leaders to make it a great revolutionary historical site.

The university was visited 107 times by President, 33 times by the Chairman and 5 times by General Secretary.

Fervent love of the leaders can be found anywhere on campus including school buildings, dormitories, science library, e-library, gymnasium and swimming complex.

In an effort to hand down such immortal exploits to posterity, there stand the statues of the President and the Chairman on Ryongnam Hill along with Revolutionary Museum as well as Monument to the Poem "O Korea, I Will Add Glory to Thee", Monument to the Field Guidance of the Great Leaders and Outdoor Historic Monumental Stones on campus.

The university named after President Kim Il Sung stands out all over the world as it is the alma mater of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
