The Advanced Research Institute of Natural Sciences

As a post-doctoral research and training centre, the Advanced Research Institute of Natural Sciences (ARINS) primarily aims at training world-class scientists in natural sciences and cutting-edge technologies, particularly those who are capable of leading world-level research projects, with high sense of devotion to the fatherland and the people.

At present fifteen to twenty lecturers and researchers of exceptional abilities are enrolled in the institute for training. A rigorous system of selection is in place to admit doctoral degree holders under 45 with exceptional academic or scholarly capacities and achievement. The training period is three to five years.

The institute has trained scores of research fellows who have been recognized in their respective academic communities across the world since March 2001.
