The adsorption rates of amine-modified GO prepared from different amine compounds were compared, and the reaction products of tri-ethylamine and GO were selected as adsorbents with high adsorption rates. The solid-phase extraction conditions of water-soluble vitamins on tri-ethylamine-modified GO were determined by methanol as the activating solvent, pH of the sample solution was 5.0, and 0.2% formic acid-methanol solution as the desorption solvent.
The sample treated with the established solid-phase extraction method was measured in ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC), and the detection limits were 0.0016, 0.0033, 0.0021, 0.0050 and 0.0048㎍/mL for vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6 and B12, respectively, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) was less than 4.5%.
The perturbation correlation 2D correlation analysis of dynamic changes of some water-soluble vitamin content during extracting of sea buckthorn leaves with hot water (70-90℃) showed that the extraction time was suitable for 40-45 min. The results of the study showed well the usefulness of the combination of amine-modified GO solid-phase extraction-liquid chromatography and two-dimensional correlation analysis of liquid chromatograms with extraction time.
The results were published in the "Analyst" (2025, 150, 4181-4193) under the title of "Dynamic Changes of Some Water-Soluble Vitamin Components in the Leaf Extracts of Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae Rhamnoides L.) by Solid-Phase Extraction-Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography and Two-Dimensional Correlation Analysis"(https://doi.org/10.1039/d5an00400d).
