In order to realize the independence of the people and build an ideal society where they are well-off, the President felt the need to have a powerful vanguard of the revolution, trained the core elements of the revolution to be the backbone of party founding and rallied the broad masses as one.
Thanks to the most revolutionary and popular idea of the Party, the essence of which is the people-first principle, the WPK could rally the masses of all strata as one despite the complex and difficult situation after the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle and the liberation of the country and successfully accomplish the historic cause of founding the party in a short span of time.

From the start of the cause of party building, the first generation of communists in Korea always went among the people in the whole course of the revolution, sharing life and death, joy and sorrow with them, putting their interests above all else and solving all problems. In this course, they created and established the spirit of devoted service for the people.
In the arduous days of the anti-Japanese armed struggle, the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters set as an immutable rule the instructions of the President that the guerrillas could not live without the people just as fish could not live without water. Even after liberation they always went among the people and laid a mass foundation for founding the party, sharing joys and sorrows with them.
