The construction of new modern rural dwelling houses are dynamically pushed forward across the country in DPR Korea every year in accordance with the decision of the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the rural revolutionary program of the new era. The people across the country are excited about the stirring reality of the overall development of socialism to be unfolded under the wise guidance of the Workers' Party of Korea.

"To build all farm villages in the country into those preserving the characteristics of socialism of our own style and features peculiar to relevant regions is a crucial strategic plan which the Workers' Party of Korea gives top priority to and which it is determined to realize in order to provide rural residents with excellent living environment and to achieve the overall development of the country."
The agricultural workers in this country have firmly defended the revolutionary position in the countryside and defended the Party and revolution with rice, invariably sharing the will with the Party and their destiny with socialism all the time. To usher these loyal and patriotic agricultural workers to the gate of communist society earlier than others; this is the steadfast determination of the respected General Secretary.
He regarded it as his long-cherished desire and important work for the prosperity and development of our state and for our rising generations to transform all rural villages of the country into rich and modern socialist ideal villages at the level of those in Samjiyon City, and at the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the WPK, he unfolded a grand blueprint for building rural dwelling houses and clearly indicated the orientation and ways for its implementation.
One day some years ago, the respected General Secretary gave the officials a valuable instruction concerning the construction of the rural dwelling houses; that the central organ should set up organs needed for rural construction and the lower units should get material, technical and labour ready for pushing ahead with the construction, adding that it would be advisable to establish a work system for rural construction and gradually expand the construction in the future, and gave instructions on the planning.
On many other occasions after that, he clearly identified the priority of the construction of dwelling houses; dwelling houses for farmers before those for workers and office workers in the rural areas, the farms along the border and the remotest mountainous farms which are far off from the beaten tracks and the farms in the most difficult conditions. He also solved all problems, big or small, arising in the construction of dwelling houses.
Under his energetic guidance and meticulous care, the housing construction has been pushed forward on full scale starting from the farms in the most difficult conditions and now, the remotest mountainous farms across the country are vibrating with jubilation of house moving and hurrah for the Workers' Party is resounding across the country.
First modern rural dwelling houses were built in the remotest mountainous villages surrounded by high and low mountains like screens, so deserted that it used to be called the most difficult places to live in.
The newly-built dwelling houses in Kwangdae Stockbreeding Farm and Hoban Farm in Pujon County, Songjang Farm in Janggang County, Saphyong Farm in Kapsan County, Ryongpho Farm in Popdong County, Tachon Farm and Songnae Farm in Kowon County, Sinsi Farm in Chonma County and many other remotest mountainous farms across the country are boasting of their unique features of the rural area, providing all the convenience to the dwellers. They are the example which shows the benevolence of the Workers' Party of Korea to provide the agricultural workers with more affluent and civilized living conditions.
This is a brilliant fruition of the warm love of the respected General Secretary, who brought about the resplendent reality of socialist rural civilization with his energetic leadership, stressing that the rapid promotion of the countryside should be made visible and tangible to the peasants.
A remote mountainous farm; the land which had been considered to be a place of human misery before the liberation has turned into a happy land to live in with the advance of the new era of rural promotion under the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, with lovely houses springing up here and there.
Marvelous modern dwelling houses have been built in the farm villages in the far-off mountainous parts of the country to be provided to the agricultural workers free of charge at the same time. The villages vibrating with songs of happiness and laughter of joy of the new dwellers; this is the reality of today which has been unfolded in this country under the benevolent love of the respected General Secretary, who is always concerned to provide the farmers with a civilized and happy life.
Farms across the country are seething with the new history of building modern rural dwelling houses which can be planned and unfolded only by the great Workers' Party of Korea.
Thanks to the respected General Secretary, who brightly indicates the road ahead of the socialist countryside in the new era of the Juche revolution and powerfully arouses all the people to the struggle for bringing earlier a brighter future, the countryside of the DPR Korea will as ever make epochal leap forward and changes and the Korean people's yearning will be surely realized along with the overall development of socialism.
