In the DPRK, where the leader and the people are single-mindedly united in purpose and kinship, there are many revolutionary anecdotes that have been recorded in the course of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people.
Among them is a heart-warming story about the meaningful words the respected General Secretary
One day in March 2023, the respected General Secretary, who was devoting his tireless efforts to the important affairs of the Party and the state, told senior officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea about the organization of the 5th National Conference of Mothers.
Over ten years ago, he saw to it that the 4th National Conference of Mothers was held to add eternal brilliance to the proud history and tradition of the Juche-oriented women's movement. And now he was going to arrange another grand gathering of mothers in careful consideration of the painstaking efforts of the mothers across the country for the happiness of their families and the growth of their children.
He said to the officials that there was no more sacred, affectionate and precious call than "mother" in the world, and that is why people regard mothers as the most sacred, righteous and powerful beings and associate their country with mother and call it their mother country.
A few months later in October 2023, while guiding every step of the preparations for the conference, he said that he attaches most importance to the conferences of the Korean Children's Union and of mothers.

His words reflect the noble benevolence of the General Secretary who is concerned to put the position of all mothers of the country who bring up the nation's future onto the highest level, as well as the noble outlook on the rising generation of the great father who is endowed with the love for them.
Thanks to his boundless and ardent love for the people, the socialist policy for children is being constantly enforced in the DPRK, despite all difficulties, to bring a happy smile to the faces of mothers and Korean socialism is advancing dynamically towards a brighter future along with that smile.
Only victory and glory are in store for the Korean people advancing under the guidance of the respected Comrade
