Unusual Scenes in Flood-stricken Areas

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

The news of the revolutionary activities of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who devotes his all to the safety of people and their well-being is reported every day in socialist Korea, touching the heartstrings of everyone.

Nowhere else in the world could be felt such a great impact and strong emotion.

Heavy flood caused loads of damage in the northern border areas of the DPRK in late July in 2024 due to an unprecedentedly torrential downpour.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected the disaster site despite serious danger and personally guided the work to rescue and evacuate the inhabitants in the disaster sites and the area where disaster was predicted. He convened the 22nd emergency enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea on the spot and put forward important tasks and ways to reconstruct the disaster areas.

Still anxious about them, he visited the flood-hit areas again to look round the tented camps where the flood victims were staying temporarily and warmly consoled them, bestowing great favour on them. A heart-warming scenes unfolded there.

How great is the father of the grand socialist family who rescued every flood victim from the jaws of death one by one at the dangerous disaster sites, being exposed to cold rain for a long time yesterday, and called on the victims staying in the tents to show them parental affection today!

Sitting knee to knee with them in the tent, he asked them if there was any inconvenience, how their meals were supplied and if there were any patients. Waves of emotion and gratitude swept through the tent as he carefully examined every aspect of their life with paternal affection.

The shouts of hurrah that rang out from the afflicted areas in those days echoed all across the country.

"Long live our Marshal Kim Jong Un, our dear father!"

Such a scene has never unfolded in other countries.

People had witnessed many afflicted areas and miserable plights of victims in different countries of the world through newspapers and TV.

There were differences in the extent of damage in each country, but there was one common aspect that could not be avoided—every victim was grief-stricken and in despair. It is natural for such victims to fall into deep sorrow and despair when they are left homeless and have no one to rely on.

Belief is as good as life to flood victims and they are reduced to the symbol of misfortune and despair as they lose it.

But the reality in the flood-hit areas of socialist Korea presented a striking contrast to that in other countries.

The afflicted areas in the DPRK unfolded a sea of love and emotion.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the flood victims and bestowed huge favour on them and they firmly believe that they will enjoy a better future as there is the respected Marshal and harden their faith and will to follow him to the end of the earth.

This is the emotional scene and sentiment that could be seen and felt in the afflicted areas of the DPRK which can never be found in any other countries.

Such a scene can be seen only in socialist Korea where all the people form a large harmonious family, holding the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in high esteem as their great father.
