People see the Tower of the Juche Idea, the Arch of Triumph and the Statue of Chollima in Pyongyang, the capital of the DPR Korea, standing to convey the story about what a great leader the Korean people have lived with.

These monumental edifices were all unveiled on the occasion of April 15th, the birthday of President Kim Il Sung who is the father of socialist Korea and the legendary hero as well.

You can feel it while seeing the huge beacon like flames blazing up higher, letters "Juche" on front and rear of the tower, and various blocks of rare stones on the arch wall in the rear of the platform sent by presidents, important figures from political and public circles and followers of the Juche idea in the world.

The Tower of the Juche Idea stands on the river Taedong in Pyongyang, the capital city, reporting the boundless admiration of the world for President Kim Il Sung who originated the immortal Juche idea that is the acme of mankind's ideological history to shed light on the road to be followed by the century.

The Arch of Triumph, unveiled on April 14th 1982 to mark the 70th birthday of President Kim Il Sung, is the monumental edifice built on the spot where he greeted people for the first time after returning home in triumph to show the great exploits of the President who pioneered the untrodden path for the revolution of national liberation and led the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle to victory, thus achieving the historic cause of national liberation under the banner of the Juche idea.

The Statue of Chollima built on Mansu Hill on April 15, 1961 to mark the 49th birthday of President Kim Il Sung is the monumental edifice to convey the immortal achievements of the President who created the incredibly fast speed by applying the speed of the legendary horse called Chollima that is believed to ride a thousand ri at a run to the realities of the country, thus ushering in the new era of miracles and changes.

The Statue portrays a male worker holding up the Red Letter of the Workers' Party of Korea in his hand and a female farmer holding a sheaf of rice in her arms who are riding together on Chollima like the wind, helping Koreans actually sense the exciting sentiment of the Chollima era when an epoch-making miracles and great achievements were created.

The Statue of Chollima is not merely representative of an age of history that has already gone, but symbol of Juche Korea to hand down to posterity the immortal achievements made by President Kim Il Sung who summoned even the legendary horse Chollima to reality for the prosperity and grandeur of the country and got people to ride on it so as to reach the highest level of the century higher and faster.
