There is a heart-warming story about the two days of extended stay in Pyongyang of the teachers of branch schools, which tells about the noble love and trust of the respected Comrade
One September day in 2017, the respected General Secretary had a photo session with teachers who volunteered to work at branch schools on islands and schools in frontline areas and remote mountains.
The teachers who had been teaching children at those schools came to have the greatest honour in their life of meeting him in the capital city of Pyongyang, and there is a touching story.
The respected General Secretary, who had thought how to give prominence to and highly reward the teachers unassumingly devoting their pure conscience to the younger generations, bestowed such great favour as to call the teachers, who had volunteered to work at branch schools on islands and schools in frontline areas and remote mountains, to the capital city of Pyongyang so that they could enjoy the blessings of the whole country in September that year, the 40th anniversary of the publication of President
Under his great loving care, the teachers who came to Pyongyang received high-level state decorations, attended congratulatory meetings and banquets, visited various places of the capital city and received gifts associated with his affection.
All the teachers, who had been unable to sleep overwhelmed by gratitude to the respected General Secretary, had an earnest wish to have a photo taken with him.
In fact, they were about to return after completing their schedule of stay.
However, although he was so busy dealing with all state affairs, he had their stay in Pyongyang extended for two days, as he wanted to see the teachers who had unhesitatingly volunteered to work at the places the Workers' Party of Korea cares about very much and wants them to be at, and invited them to the photo session of glory.
Indeed, education work is regarded as a sacred and noble patriotic undertaking and ordinary educators are highly praised as patriots in the DPRK. This is unthinkable apart from such wise leadership and warm affection of the respected General Secretary who has the noble outlook on the rising generation and the future.
