It has been more than a year since the legend of love for the people of the Workers' Party of Korea, always serving the people as Heaven and regarding it as its greatest pleasure to support them, was created in the flood-stricken areas including Sinuiju City.

He also bestowed deep love on the flood victims having the Party Central Committee immediately deploy a commanding team and provide service for the people from the flood-stricken areas at the April 25 Hostel and the military parade training base in Pyongyang.
Among those people who came to Pyongyang at that time were women who were about to give birth.
They were worried about giving birth before the disaster, but it was a futile one.
They were admitted to and gave birth to healthy children at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, the babies' palace, according to the loving care taken by the respected General Secretary.
As soon as they had babies, the mothers from the flood-stricken areas came to have a dream-like love of receiving over 10 kinds of supplies including baby wrappers, clothing for babies' mothers, babies' underwear for spring, autumn and winter, towels, baby socks, baby spoons and baby bottles.
So they all expressed their excitement, for the fatherly love they had never dreamed of.
A woman from Sinuiju City was worried about having a baby outside her hometown, even without parents when she came to Pyongyang. She said that now she had a baby at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, she came to realize that her family was always near her.
Another woman said that she named her son "Phyong San" in the meaning of never forgetting the love of the Party and the benefits of the socialist system she received at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, and earnestly said that she would convey this love generation after generation.
Another woman said she came to Pyongyang with five children due to the disaster but was going back with six, and told her great honour and happiness of having a memorial photo taken with the respected General Secretary at the 5th National Conference of Mothers.
At that time, women from the flood-stricken areas of North Phyongan, Jagang and Ryanggang provinces had more than 50 healthy babies at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital.
This is how the legend of love was born, in which the number of families of flood victims increased more than 50 than when they arrived in Pyongyang.
It is common practice for any country to suffer loss of life after the flood.
But in our country, lives were newly born, not lost, even in the severe flood. This is a legend of love that can be born only in our socialist country that has the respected General Secretary as its father.
Indeed, it was a happiness that could be enjoyed only under the warm care of the WPK which regards it as its duty to make selfless, devoted efforts for the great people.
That is why they are exclaiming "Our children's home is Pyongyang" with unanimous happiness.
