With the approach of March 8 International Women's Day, the Korean women feel more keenly the great national pride of holding the respected Comrade
The Korean people still remember the story of the loving care he showed for a couple of pilots as he met them and named their baby at the First Conference of Pilots of the Korean People's Army.
It reminds them of his benevolent image, who, having been requested personally by an airwoman, kept his promise to name her newborn baby as if between a father and a daughter.

Upon hearing her answer that she had not named her child yet, he said, with a broad smile, that though he did not know whether her son would fly an aircraft in the future, it would be good if he would become a pilot to defend the sky of the country. He then named him Ri Chung Do in the hope that, even if he would do anything else, he would support the Party with pure conscience and invariably go along the road of loyalty all his life for the prosperity of the country with transparent patriotism.
Chung Do – it was his promise of love with an ordinary woman pilot.
Today the name of the baby is kept in the minds of not only pilots but also the Korean women across the country as a synonym for faith and will to follow and support the respected Comrade
