The March 8th International Women's Day, the happy holiday of the Korean women who are regarded as flowers of society and family amid the love, respect and congratulations of the people across the country has come.
Our women are pushing one of the two wheels of the revolution while taking care of their families and society.
Happy March 8th International Women's Day!
Congratulations everywhere make the women educators look back their proud life, looking more beautiful and happier.
Women educators!
They are the women educators of the DPRK who enjoy a proud life envied by all people, bringing the future of the country into full bloom at the sacred schools they never dreamed of before liberation.
The respected Comrade
"Our women constitute a powerful force that pushes ahead one of the two wheels of the revolution."
On November 1st, Juche34 (1945), the watch words in the first issue of the Party organ of the WPK drew attention of public.
"Let us vigorously preserve the rights of men and women over 20!"
"Let's reject the contradictory ideas of predominance of men over women and feudal ideas of forcing the women to stay in!"
"Let women abandon feudal customs and take an active part in the building of state industry."
"Establish a legal system for equality of men and women!"
After reading the historical party organ, the President said with a broad smile on his face that the party organ was, at last, brought out, which had been prepared with such painstaking efforts.
Perhaps he was so pleased and satisfied to hear the voice of the women of liberated Korea in the first issue of the historic party organ.
Under the guidance of the President, who opened up the road of women's liberation, inscribing the issue of sex equality in the "ten-point programme of the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland" as one of the articles in the days during the anti-Japanese armed struggle, our women began writing a new history of dramatic change in their destiny with blood and sweat, not with pens.
The Democratic Women's Union was founded without delay soon after the President carried out the historic cause of founding the Party in the liberated homeland, and on the blackboard of the office room of the President who was working day and night for the building of a new country was a detailed analysis of the situation of women workers before the liberation.
Articles in the party organ on the first March 8th International Women's Day in the liberated country read like this.
"The liberation of the Korean nation on August 15th brought about the liberation of the Korean women. It is the first time that the Korean women celebrate the March 8th International Women's Day."
Many publications brought out on the first March 8th International Women's Day in Korea highly praised the President.
Since then, a new women's world of freedom and liberation, the world of bright future, and the happy March 8th celebration has started.
The President always took loving care of our women, and his feelings for women educators were extraordinary.
One day the President visited Kiyang Primary School in Kangso County.
Though having his hands full under the heavy burden of building a new country, the President went round the school skipping the lunch.
The President, who was in perfect harmony with the schoolchildren, showed warm loving care for them and gave precious instructions to the teachers on the issues arising in the educational work.
Then he asked a young woman teacher how old she was and how long she was teaching.
He was told that she was only twenty years old and had been teaching for nine months, and then learned in detail about her family situation. He knew that she was enjoying a wonderful family life and teaching without losing passion, though her parents all died before liberation, and he left a meaningful request that she should become an excellent educator.
The 20-year-old woman teacher was blessed with the President's loving care to be handed down through generations.
Even in the days of hard-fought war and postwar rehabilitation, he invariably kept loving care for women educators.
That girl teacher with a bobbed hair at 20, who was overjoyed meeting the President for the first time, was honored, after seven years, to attend a large national meeting held in the presence of the President, and at the age of 20 was able to grow into a deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly discussing the state affairs.
Indeed, the women educators who became the masters of a proud life under the benevolent loving care of the President were able to devote themselves to the education of the rising generation under the leadership of Chairman even in the period of the Arduous March, bearing in mind the honor of being teachers.
In his lifetime, Chairman valued and loved women educators.
Among them is a woman educator of Hamhung University of Chemical Industry.
In May, Juche 99(2010), Chairman visited Hamhung University of Chemical Industry.
Going round different places of the university that day, he learned in detail about the education and scientific research. He highly appreciated the achievements made by the teachers and researchers and posed for a memorial photo with them.
It was when they were taking photograph.
When the photographer was about to press the shutter, Chairman said, "Just a moment."
When everybody was looking up with a sense of nervousness, he turned round in search of somebody.
Then he recognized an woman educator, who was a PhD degree holder, and kindly said that as she was short, she could be hidden in the photo, and personally set her seat next to him.
There was a surge of excitement.
The teachers and researchers of the university, to say nothing of the woman educator, were really moved.
Chairman kindly took the arm of her, who was at a loss what to do, and told her to come forward and stand next to him.
So, a significant photo to be handed down through generations could be taken, conveying his love and benevolence forever.
Indeed, thanks to the great love and trust of Chairman, that ordinary woman educator became well known to the whole country and could glorify her proud life.
We can find many touching stories about his love for woman teachers.
One day a woman teacher who was taking part in the mass gymnastics held in the presence of the President was missed out of the list of candidates for the presents of watches bearing the august name of the President due to her disgraceful family background. When he came to know this fact, Chairman ensured that she was not discriminated against.
Whenever he met the kindergarteners training talents, he was really pleased and showed loving care to be handed down through generations.
Thanks to the benevolent care of Chairman who invariably paid great attention to the life of the women educators whom the President had valued so much, the life of the women educators of Juche Korea became more brilliant.
The women educators of the DPRK are leading a happy life under the care of the respected Comrade
On the day of his visit to the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage,
People across the country extend unsparing praise and congratulations to women educators, recollecting their happy life.
Dear, Mrs. I congratulate you on the March 8th International Women's Day.
The congratulations will resound far and wide in praise of the peerlessly great men who take loving care of the women educators and reflecting their gratitude to socialism.
