That day he was told that some inhabitants in the area, who got to know that the homeless families were to receive new houses from the WPK, pulled down their houses on their own, which could have been available without trouble, if they had been repaired.
The officials had decided to call it in question, considering it as a selfish and egoistic act, taking no account of the difficult condition of the country.
But he said that they should not take issue with it, and that if they had no trust in the Party, they probably couldn't have done so, adding that their trust in the Party was the most precious and it was the most precious of all assets.
And he earnestly said that they should live up to the trust of the people in the spirit of selfless and devoted efforts, with the view that there was nothing more to be wanted except their trust.
The officials could not help being moved to tears.
The respected General Secretary regarded their trust that the Party would build new houses for them as a precious asset that was not to be compared with anything in the world.
As no other great man but he embodied this philosophy of noble trust on the highest level, he regards the people's trust as the most precious asset and thoroughly applies it in practice.
When businessmen talk of wealth, they mean time, scientists knowledge and some people saving.
But it has been thousands of years since the definition of wealth was established in the world, but no great man endowed with benevolence who regarded the people's trust in the Party as the most valuable asset is to be found, even if you read all the biographies of great men and trace back to the annals of mankind history.
