Regarding Man as the Most Precious Being in the World

As the Day of the Sun is coming, Korean people are boundlessly yearning for President Kim Il Sung who devoted all his life to our country and people.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Comrade Kim Il Sung's was a noble life of a people's leader, who regarded ‘The people are my God' as his motto, applied it to his ideas and leadership and turned it into reality."

On January 9th, 1962, President Kim Il Sung paid a visit to the then Pyongyang Silk Mill.

Carefully watching the female workers working at the hazy-fogged workshop, he said the factory should be airy and dry, and equipped in a cleaner, more sanitary and cultured way. Then looking at the uniforms of the workers one by one, he took the hands of the workers and felt concern about their rough hands.

When the officials held President back from going into the work place where the cocoons were being boiled and full of steam, he said that he was going to look around all the work places where the workers were working. And he continued that there was no reason for him not going into the work place where the workers had been working every day.

President told the officials if they had had a correct viewpoint on the workers, the working conditions of the Pyongyang Silk Mill wouldn't have been in such an inadequate condition and that they wouldn't have let the factory stay in such a bad situation so far, and that the one who does not treasure the workers could not be a communist, and stressed we must start the rebuilding of the Pyongyang Silk Mill for them from the next day.

President, at the conference for the construction of the new factory, said that the important thing in construction of the Pyongyang Silk Mill was to provide them with good ventilation, and that the newly-constructed building should be properly ventilated so that the air at the workshop was always fresh, dry and not hot in summer.

And he said that the new factory should be built by August 15th, the machines should be installed in September and they should go into production from the end of the year. He also bestowed favors on them that it was first to build the factory which provided workers with good conditions of labor and cultural rest and the cost of construction should be counted next.

Thanks to the warm love of the President who had a view that people is the most precious being in the world and a real communist must love them more than anything, a new modern and cultural factory was built on a wide area chosen by the President on time.

It was, indeed, the warm love shown by the President who loved people most and devoted all his life to them, and at the same time the great happiness enjoyed by our people with President as their father.
