 2025.6.3.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Education is an important undertaking that provides a link of the revolution and propels the development of the country. So it is our Party's idea and policy of attaching importance to education that it should be given definite priority and it should not be interrupted nor neglected even a moment whatever the difficulties."

The DPRK can successfully overcome all the difficulties facing it and make a dynamic advance thanks to the powerful scientific and technological forces which have been substantially built up under the leadership of the great Workers' Party of Korea.

The proud reality in the DPRK and the ever-prospering development phase racing against the century would be unthinkable apart from the tireless efforts and devotion of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who set forth an idea to leap by dint of science and guarantee the future based on education, thus energetically guiding the educational work for building up sci-tech forces.

He has already said that education is like soil while educational conditions and environment are like manure for it in training talents. Regarding the improvement of educational conditions and environment as an important requirement for developing education, he gave meticulous guidance to it.

This is the story of the revolutionary activities of the respected General Secretary sparing no pains of patriotic devotion to build up an educational power and a talented nation.

One day years ago, when the respected General Secretary met up with officials, he called in person a senior official of a provincial party committee.

He clearly indicated the way for the province to be followed and raised a topic of the real state of the educational institutions in the province.

That day he gave the senior official a detailed instruction on the need to provide substantial help for the schools in order to improve the educational conditions and environment, indicating that on his way back to the province he should learn in details about the school buildings and school supplies, and should take appropriate measures.

Upholding the instructions of the respected General Secretary, the officials and the working people in the province turned out as one not only to take an active part in the construction of schools but also to pay patriotic devotion to the work for providing the schools with furniture and equipment in good time, which led to a remarkable result that over 80 schools in the rural areas which had been renovated into model schools just in a year opened simultaneously.

The stories of his patriotic devotion to the development of the country's education are beyond enumeration.

His love can be seen from the fact that he personally examined many designs for construction of an ordinary rural school and took affectionate measures in order to build it into an excellent school. He also gave guidance to preparation for operation of schools and kindergartens to be built in a new street and took measures to standardize the dimensions of the desks and chairs to be used in primary schools and middle schools.

The DPRK's evident achievements in the field of the education are precious fruition of the devoted efforts of the respected General Secretary to set the goal to be attained by the education and give precious instructions, leading it step by step.

Under the guidance of the great teacher who regards the education as the most important of state affairs and steers the educational revolution in the new century, the DPRK will emerge as a country of talents and an educational power shining all over the world.
