Guidance of Devoted Service for People to Transform Flood-Stricken Areas into Socialist Paradise

In June 2024, in DPR Korea, a series of flood that devastated North Phyongan Province which is situated in the estuary of the Amnok River, some areas of Jagang Province and Ryanggang Province simultaneously. Since the breakout of flood within just 4 months 15000 single and multi-floored dwelling houses, nursery schools, kindergartens, schools, hospitals and clinics were built as well as repairing 6 000 houses. In addition, the building and restoration of embankment of the River Amnok, river improvement, railways, roads and bridges were accelerated and thus transformed the landscape of the areas. This was the miracle in the history of construction.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Approaching the people closer and sharing sweets and bitters with them the harder the times are is the natural mode of existence and activities of our Party."

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who was gifted with the noble view of people, made a daring decision to transform the flood-devastated areas into idealistic "cultured country town" and cultured mountainous city.

He wisely led and organized the grand construction operation at the forefront, thus brought an auspicious reality, which is another miracle in the history of our motherland.

Just after the breakout of the flood, 22nd Enlarged Meeting of the Political Bureau of Eighth Central Committee of WPK was held on the inundated paddy field of the flooded area. In the meeting practical issues arising in the restoration of the inflicted area like the urgent supply of accumulated goods for emergency use for the stabilization of the residents of inundated area, the scientific anticipation of the scale, labor and budget for the restoration of the flooded area, the rapid deployment construction labor, supply of materials and its smooth transportation etc. were discussed and adopted a decision to restore the damage of the flooded area in a short period of time.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un organized a strong leading force for the restoration campaign and personally led the restoration work at the forefront by continuously walking the long journey for the people.

He gave a field guidance on the flooded areas on several occasions and gave precious instructions for expanding and accelerating construction to boost the further development of the area in a futuristic way, not just simply restoring it to the original state. His instructions include the issue of prioritizing the supply of the materials and equipment needed for the restoration work by organizing the transportation precisely, to speed up the framing work to the maximum and enhance the quality of the finishing building work, landscaping the forest and refurbishing the surrounding areas in conformity with the construction of the modern and cultured dwelling area so that they have practical and ornamental value.

Indeed, the traits of love devotion of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un can be depicted in every dwelling house of the flooded area and in every single line and dot of 540 designs that were seen and perfected personally by him.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un regarded all the buildings of flood-stricken area as the precious treasure of our country and people that should be guaranteed farsightedly and perfected it without any flaws. Thanks to his devotion that is more ardent than fire, the flood-stricken areas that were devastated by the vagaries of the nature could be transformed into socialist paradise with no parallel in the world.

It is really the miraculous victory that flood-stricken areas were transformed into a wonderful socialist paradise and another world of socialism. This glorious victory is attributed to the immortal leadership of the great WPK for the people, whose way of existence is to share joy and sorrow when people are experiencing difficulties whilst regarding people as the foundation and pillar as well as the starting point and aspiring point of all the activities.

As seen above the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un devoted everything for the people of flood-stricken area, but on the day of the completion of the dwelling houses for the devastated area of people, he modestly said that he was very sorry to complete the houses at the end of the year when the winter cold already had arrived. At the time not only the people of inundated area but also all the people of the country shed tears of gratitude.

Thanks to his noble spirit and devoted leadership who is determined to repay the trust of people with the great outcome by shouldering himself all the burdens for people no matter how heavy the burden may be, miraculous legendary tales for people will continuously be created in Korea which is advancing with the banner of socialism no matter how ferocious the vagaries of nature might be.
