The cheerful appearance of the children growing up with nothing to envy under the excellent system that provides them with the best things in the world giving priority to the policy for the younger generation, is more clearly reflected in the image of Korean-style socialism.

This reflects his noble outlook on the rising generation, who regards it as the greatest pleasure to work hard with devotion for the bright future of the rising generation, saying that even a star should be plucked if it was for bringing up the younger generation.
His great affection for them is reflected in the measures taken by him at the recent major meetings, where crucial measures of the Party and the state were discussed.
At the Third Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea in June 2021, he said that the children's period at nurseries and kindergartens are most important in their growth, and stressed the need to establish as a Party's policy the supply of milk products and other nutritive foodstuffs to the children across the country at state expense.
He said that there is no more important revolutionary work than to bring up children, the future of the country, to be stout, and it is crucial policy and cherished desire of our Party and state to provide them with better conditions for growing up even at any cost, indicating concrete tasks and ways for improving and strengthening the Party's childcare policy.
At the subsequent major meetings he again took concrete measures for the implementation of this policy.
In his historic policy speech at the Fifth Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, he called for radically increasing milk production, developing milk processing technology and thoroughly ensuring the quality of milk products.
He calculated the daily amount of the milk need for the nursery and kindergarten children across the country and took a special measure for ensuring production milk powder for them. He personally tasted the milk powder and clarified the ways for improving the quality. And he had the law on childcare, the only one in the world, adopted, thus firmly guaranteeing the implementation of the Party's childcare policy by law.
This is not all.
In the days when he was guiding the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, he set forth the task of supplying all students with new types of quality school uniforms and bags at state expense, saying that this is a consistent policy of the Party and the state, and took important measures for the Party Central Committee to carry them out.
From olden times, it has been said that it takes the 50 000-day labor to raise one child.

Thanks to his noble outlook on the rising generation, which regards the work for the rising generation as the most important of all the state affairs, the work for consolidating the educational foundations of the country was discussed and adopted as an important policy at the Sixth, Eighth and Eleventh Plenary Meetings of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and practical measures were taken for the building of the state, a state with the most advanced education in the world, which attaches greatest importance to education.
The policies for the rising generation, adopted at important meetings of the Party and state, reflect the noble outlook of the peerlessly great man on the rising generation, who regards the bright smile of children as a symbol of the socialist system and an image of Korean-style socialism.
