Leader's Single-minded Devotion above People's Single-hearted Devotion

Single-minded devotion is the lifeline of the Korean revolution and the source of its irresistible power.

It means the pure and honest mind only for one thing and the valuable faith that is always straight and never changes, which is the same as the name for Korean revolutionaries and people.

Everything strong and heroic about Juche-oriented Korea, the beautiful and noble life of people and their work, victory and glory on this land, all of which is combined to be the word "single-minded devotion".

Single-hearted devotion cherished deep in the minds of Korean people during the remarkable course of the new era of Juche-oriented revolution, in the true sense of the word, came from the absolute trust in the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

In December 2011 when all the Korean people mourned the passing away of Chairman Kim Jong Il with intense grief, nobody in the world thought that the DPRK could stand up and rush to their goal so quickly and so miraculously. It was impossible for every nation on the planet to imagine that the DPRK could build up the strongest national defense capacity at a breath and bring about the tremendous change of new civilization at such a high speed one after another, when the imperialist forces made out the timetable of collapse and attacked it in every direction.

But, Korean people absolutely believed in the respected General Secretary all the time when they were faced with all sorts of ordeals and challenges, which saw triumphant events of excellence each time.

Their absolute faith in that no leader on this planet is as outstanding as him and the greatest and the most distinguished leader is only the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and the fact that when they support him faithfully, they have nothing to fear and can overcome any difficulty in the way, even defying death, which was the truth cherished in the minds of Korean people. It took firm root in their hearts that only when they believe in and follow the respected General Secretary, such a great leader, can everything be successful surely and unconditionally.

People's faith means their single-hearted devotion. With the firm belief in the cause of the great leader, Koreans regarded absolute loyalty to the leader as their utmost happiness and the whole of their life and performed a miracle startling the world in supporting his revolutionary leadership.

However, through their experience, they fully realized that the single-minded devotion of the respected General Secretary is above their single-hearted devotion, who thinks the people's trust in him to be the greatest wealth and continues the journey of devoted service for people.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"I solemnly swear once again that I will live up to the people's trust without fail, even if my body is torn and crushed to pieces in the course of defending their great trust, and that I will remain faithful to it."

Always saying with great emotion that he felt grateful for the noble qualities of the people who trusted in and supported the Party whole-heartedly up to now, he emphasized that, even though it was what he had to expect the worse painstaking effort for, their belief in him and the WPK always became unconditional and unshakable and such strong, true belief and encouragement were the most valuable wealth for him that could be never replaced with any honor and compared with nothing in the world and the unlimited strength for him to neglect any fear or impossible thing.

His revolutionary time is every minute and second that is run through his single-minded devotion for people.

He spared no pains in his patriotic and devoted efforts to defend the dignity, destiny and happiness of the country and the people and give full play to it. There were dangerous journeys to the front, rough sea routes and distant air routes, muddy roads and even a temporary bridge, the safety of which could not be assured. The command "Charge!" that he gave to himself during days and nights of unknown devotion, was "Forward, death-defying corps, for the country and the people!" That implies the noble intention of patriotism and single-minded devotion of the fatherly leader who devoted his all to the country and the people.

It was the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un that, with his new year's greeting to the people across the country in the first morning of the year 2021, sent a significant autograph letter to them saying that he was grateful to them for their believing in and supporting the Party invariably and made a pledge not to change his single-minded devotion for the great people.

People should bear it in mind once again that there has never been such an emotional reality that the single-hearted devotion kept in mind by the people for their leader was replaced with the pledge made by the great leader for his people.

Indeed, the leader's single-hearted devotion came above the people's single-hearted devotion and the leader's devoted service was ahead of the people's loyalty. That's why Korean people admire and follow their leader for life, who regards the word "people" as his life and soul, saying that his idea is only to be the servant of people, while being full of the greatest happiness to see them feel delighted as if he had the whole world, whereas feeling most painful to see them suffer from agony as if his flesh was cut into pieces and his blood was dried out.

High dignity and prestige of the DPRK admired by the world is the precious fruition achieved by the painstaking efforts of the respected General Secretary. Colossal armaments of Juche-oriented Korea are not merely the products of national defense science but the precious ones created in the course of patriotic devotion by the respected General Secretary to defending the destiny of the country and the people. The proud creations and valuable successes proving the unlimited potential for the self-reliant economy are the brilliant realization of his thinking and devoted efforts without relaxation.

There is no end in thinking and devotion continued by the respected General Secretary for the new development of the state and the promotion of people's well-being.

Looking back upon the past 10 years, loads of burden and feeling of oppression shouldered on him was beyond imagination.

It was the respected General Secretary who went to the most dangerous places and on the roughest roads without hesitation to provide people with the highest dignity and the greatest welfare in the world and put off a moment's rest regarding 24 hours a day as his revolutionary time. He said that the song "We are the happiest in the world" made him further determined to work and devote more than ever before in order to put the song into the realities of people's life, listening to it from a lighted window in the capital on his way back from a distant field guidance, which are the true words flowing out of the heart of the fatherly leader who regards his single-minded devotion for people as natural obligation.

That's why the song "Dear Father", which is sung by all the Korean people irrespective of age or sex with great emotion, is associated with their endless thanks for and absolute trust in the respected General Secretary who tries to provide them with the dignified and civilized life they longed for with faith amid the manifold hardships at an earliest date.

The bonds of kinship that the leader writes the history of indomitable devotion for people, while people try to realize the leader's idea and intention at the cost of their life, is the original image of Juche-oriented Korea and the political and ideological strength of the DPRK.

Korean people will surely add glory to the dignity and honor of the DPRK in any adversity and ordeal by dint of this great power of single-hearted devotion that is full of love and affection, fascination and admiration, trust and yearning.
