Field Guidance given by our President

Every time they see April 15th, the day of the greatest national jubilation, come round, all Koreans feel the boundless reverence for President Kim Il Sung in their irresistible yearning and memory for him.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Comrade Kim Il Sung's was a noble life of a people's leader, who regarded ‘The people are my God' as his motto, applied it to his ideas and leadership and turned it into reality."

President Kim Il Sung continued his on-the-spot guidance for the sake of people without a day's rest for his life in order to make the Korean people the most dignified and happiest in the world, always saying that no people were greater than Koreans.

The aim of his field guidance was to realize the noble ideal of "The people are my God", wherein lay his great life.

In his reminiscences "With the Century", the President said that "The people are my God" was his cherished opinion and motto, which meant that he believed in the people as in heaven. He added that the Juche-oriented principle that popular masses should be regarded as the master of revolution and construction and their strength be relied upon was the political belief most revered by him, which resulted in the essential character of his whole life dedicated to the sake of people.

For him, the people was his God, teacher and what was more, the whole of his life. Always finding himself among people, the President personally grasped their look, expression, way of talking and even their manner to understand their desire and intention, through which he saw the sentiment of the times and the urgent requirement of revolution and set forth policies on the basis of them.

He said that what made him happiest was to be loved and supported by people and what was the most worthwhile for him was to serve them. He went on to say that his desire was to live still among the love and support of people and his revolutionary duty was to work hard to the end for the well-being of people. He continued his way of devotion, regarding even trouble as happiness if it was for people.

The field guidance continued by him for the welfare of people day and night with his motto, "The people are my God", was the source of the great harmonious whole in which people were united around the leader with love, trust and faith as well as the key to the changes and miracles of socialist Korea admired by the world.

Indeed, 80 years of President's great life was the history of love and devotion of the great leader, the fatherly leader that cannot be replaced by anyone.

In the days of significant April, full of the feeling of boundless gratitude for the President, Koreans express their true thoughts, holding him in high esteem as their benevolent fatherly leader: the Juche-oriented socialist country where the beautiful dream and ideal of people come true is the precious fruition achieved by the President who sowed the seeds on the land of people and cultivated to gather for his whole life, so he lives eternally with people now.
