Chairamn Kim Jong Il said:

Later, in March 1975, he saw to it that the publishing house was named the Kumsong Youth Publishing House and fully demonstrated the might of the publications for youth and students which was born with the tradition of the anti-Japanese struggle and sent a congratulatory message to the publishing house on its 35th founding anniversary. He repeatedly bestowed warm love and benevolence on the journalists and editors of the Kumsong Youth Publishing House such as providing a new modern office building on the picturesque bank of the Pothong River.

Thanks to the warm care of Chairman Kim Jong Il, the journalists and editors of the Kumsong Youth Publishing House could perform brilliant feats in developing the Juche-oriented youth movement while conducting mass media activities in a revolutionary and militant way.
