Whenever we think of the great love and trust the great father showed for the working class of the DPRK, we first remember the appellation the eldest son of the country.

When the members of the Ko Kyong Chan-led Hero Workteam of the April 5 Pit of the Kumgol Mine of the Komdok Mining Complex fulfilled their yearly national economic plan ahead of schedule on the occasion of the significant April holiday in April 2017, the General Secretary sent to them a congratulatory message in which he extended high appreciation to them, saying that the world-startling grand advance was getting more rapid with the hostile forces' outrageous toughest threats and barbarous sanctions failing to work thanks to the heroic working class, the core unit of the Juche revolution and the eldest son of the country.
When there arose the task of manufacturing custom-built equipment of great significance in the development of the national economy in December 2022, the General Secretary firmly believed in the workers of the Ryongsong Machine Complex and entrusted the honourable task to them as they personify the mettle of the Korean revolutionaries going through thick and thin without knowing any slightest hesitation and vacillation in order to solve any problem if it is what the Party wants them to do and if it is what the Party is worried about.
He led the Ryongsong workers to develop into creators of great miracles in the struggle for implementing the Party's decisions. And when they brought about great successes in production, he brought all the glory to them.
On November 26, 2023, he visited the Ryongsong Machine Complex to highly appreciate the successes achieved by its heroic workers, the eldest son of the country, and show the greatest trust in them, instructing them to pioneer the era of the overall development of socialist construction by creating the Chollima spirit of the new era.
At the enlarged meeting of the historic 11th Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea in December 2024, the General Secretary stressed the need to wage a construction struggle in the new year, too, and, through this, make another leap forward to realize our ideals, and entrusted the workers of the Sangwon Cement Complex with a huge task of increasing cement production, believing in them.
Now the Sangwon workers are fully discharging their duty as the eldest son of the country, giving to the Party Central Committee a laudable monthly report on cement production they increased by fully displaying the spirit of Chollima of the new era. All other workers across the country have followed suit to turn out as one in the drive for increased production and economy.
As there are the heroic working class who received the great love and trust from the General Secretary, the dynamic drive to create miracles is on in all parts of the country, bringing about many world-startling miracles with proud creations for comprehensive national rejuvenation springing up.
