The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Patriotism is whole-hearted devotion to the country and people."

A meaningful moment has come to greet the 77th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK, my dear country.

A song touches the heartstrings of our people on the morning of this day which has dawned instilling in them boundless pride in the great country.

The song, entitled I Will Remain Your Son Forever, refers to the country as a tree and a great heart.

I myself am inconceivable apart from the country even a moment, and everyone's life can be likened to a leaf on a twig of a gigantic tree and to a drop of blood pumped out from a great heart.

Indeed, the song makes us realize again that our life is unthinkable apart from the country even a moment, and every line of the song teaches us the precious truth we should never forget throughout our lives.

One day, saying he loves the song, General Secretary Kim Jong Un described the first and second verses of the song as the acme of the poetry of our country. The song comprehensively expresses with short words a revolutionary's view of life and the words can be defined as a model of the lyrics which depict what a revolutionary's view of life is like, he added, praising the words as really respectable ones.

What is the noble view of life reflected by the masterpiece so highly praised by the peerlessly great man?

If we had no homeland, we would have experienced such pain as what our ancestors suffered under the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists a century ago.

If our country was weak, we would have suffered such a tragedy as that in the Gaza Strip.

That's why the pride and self-confidence of our people leading a genuine life in the benevolent embrace of the motherland, the greatest country in the world, which cares about, brings into full bloom and defends our destiny, happiness and future, are the noblest thoughts and feelings that are inconceivable elsewhere in the world.

The song "I Will Remain Your Son Forever" sublimates such thoughts and feelings of our people into the strong patriotic will to spare nothing for the country.

To remain honorable before the love the country gives, the happiness it provides and the bright future it cultivates, all the sons and daughters of the DPRK will keep it as their great honor to devote their all to the security and prosperity of the country in any adversity.

The song will always resound along with our country which will prosper forever.
