All people's voice filled with strong emotion, "There is no other personage like our Marshal in the world!"

This is what all the Korean people exclaim with deep emotion, moved by the devoted efforts of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for them.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Regarding as its guiding light the noble ideas and achievements of the great President Kim Il Sung and General Kim Jong Il, who devoted their whole life to training the people by believing in them as in heaven and exalted the brilliance of Korea, our Party will continue to love the people and fight for them, and strive to translate their beautiful dreams and ideals into reality."

The wildness of nature causes heavy loss of life and severe disasters in any regions and countries of the world.

Recently, typhoons, floods and tidal waves have frequently occurred worldwide, causing damage to people's lives and property and many obstacles and difficulties in the economic development of countries. In socialist Korea, however, you can hear legendary tales of devoted efforts to protect the people's lives and property from severe natural disasters.

Among them is a story about the loving care shown by the General Secretary who personally led the rescue operation in a flood-hit area and took various important measures for flood victims.

In late July 2024, different areas of the northern border region of the country, including Uiju County of North Phyongan Province, suffered flood damage caused by unprecedentedly heavy rains.

The damage in Uiju County was severer.

Roads, farmland and dwelling houses were inundated by the water which had overflowed in a flash.

By the time when a crisis was caused by the heavy rain and the life of the residents in the inundated area was in serious danger, people had not been aware of how great loving care awaited the flood victims and how serious devoted operation started to save them.

Immediately after the occurrence of the crisis, the General Secretary dispatched leading officials of the Party, the government and the military to the county and promptly committed helicopters of the Air Force of the Korean People's Army and lifeboats of the navy and border garrison to the rescue operations.

Even after taking all possible measures, he personally led the recovery campaign in the dangerous afflicted area without paying heed to torrential rain, with worry about the safety of the local people. That day, while getting off helicopters, the flood victims broke into cheers of excitement, shedding tears of emotion, at the unexpected sight of him waving to them at the airfield in the rainy wind.

He had been out in the area to make sure that every victim was saved. Now he went there again to look round the dangerous flood-stricken parts aboard a small rubber boat and convened an emergency enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to take important measures to repair the flood damage.

Thinking he failed to take full care of the afflicted people even after initiating the honorable and huge project for providing them with nice homes as soon as possible, he again visited such people in the flood-hit area of Uiju County to learn in detail about their life despite the sultry weather, giving them gifts he had brought and having a long talk with them to console them. Deeply moved by his parental care, they threw themselves into his embrace.

An old saying goes that something is saved from fire but not from flood. Like this, damage by flood is unimaginable.

Many people in the world are suffering from hard life with no hope for their future after undergoing damage by the wildness of nature. But, in socialist Korea, all the flood victims are living under the care of the Party, the government and the whole country and more than 13 000 flood victims are spending happy days, enjoying the best treatment in the capital city of Pyongyang, including children and students and the elderly and sick who were brought there for their education and convenience in living.

It is said that disasters usually turn people into selfish beings, but, in socialist Korea, the people of the whole country unite more firmly with one mind and will when they are faced with disasters. This is because they have a great father who regards them as his flesh and blood and unhesitatingly risks any danger for the good of them.

That's why, reflecting their unanimous will to entrust their destiny and future wholly to his great embrace and trust and follow him all their lives, the Korean people, men and women, old and young, exclaim, "There is no other personage like our Marshal in the world!" and "We'll follow the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un to the end of the earth!"
