The respected Comrade
"The struggle tasks facing us today are very heavy and enormous, and we have to solve various problems; however, nothing is more important and urgent than the work of defending the destiny and life of the people and taking care of them."
Among the problems that mankind are anxious to solve today are the orphan problem and the problem of the elderly who have no one to care for.
Quite a few countries are making efforts to solve these problems, but no country has fully realized it.
But thanks to the respected Comrade
Probably many people will be unaware of the fact that documents on the orphans across the country are on the office table of the respected General Secretary who is busy with all the state affairs of the country and the fact that there is a department for the orphans and elderly people who have no one to care for in the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The respected General Secretary is so anxious to give warm love to the orphans and the old people who have no one to care for that he set up a new department in charge of the work of baby homes, orphanages, primary and secondary schools for orphans and old people's homes across the country and is giving direct guidance to the work.
However, he is redoubling his efforts of devotion, feeling as if he had not bestowed enough love on the orphans and elderly people.
He saw to it that many supply service bases should be built to serve the orphans and the elderly people.
There is no end to the love of the Party which takes care of every corner of their life.
Dozens and hundreds of varieties of foodstuffs, clothing and daily necessities are supplied to the children of baby homes and orphanages and old people of nursing homes across the country every year. Needless to say, it is impossible to count on ten fingers the rare fish, tonic materials and things like tropical fruits which are supplied to them day after day.
The warm love and affection of the respected General Secretary gave birth to the touching realities in which nutritious foods were placed at the orphans' table every day in conformity to the rising standard of nutrition on them and the old people danced with their shoulders moving up and down, merrily singing the song "Let the Days Go By" in the cradle of love.
In January of a year, feeling an unparalleled impulse over a photo of happy orphans and elderly people who were pleased to receive the fish, the respected General Secretary left a meaningful autograph that he was waging a struggle full of optimism despite the difficulties in order to feel such a zest and to be intoxicated with such great happiness. In his autograph, he called upon the officials to aspire the goal of struggle for bringing earlier the day when our people would laugh and live such an abundant life every day and to make redoubled efforts with the courage and vigor based on the spirit of making selfless devotion to the people.
Thanks to the loving care of the respected General Secretary who embraces the people and gives them a deep parental affection, the orphans with no parents have become the beloved children of the country and the old people with no one to look for are living in comfort without any shadow on their face. No home is happier and warmer than our socialist country.
Thanks to the great father who takes care of the people with warm love and affection, the Korean people will lead a happy life free from all sorts of cares and worries.
